About Us

We believe in creating inclusive spaces. That’s the focus of our two children’s books.

Published in 2017, The Little Boy from Jamaica: A Canadian History Story chronicles my journey to becoming the first Black Chief of Police in Canadian history. The story highlights that my success was shaped by the influence of many key individuals, starting with my sixth-grade teacher, Miss Hanna.

The Little Girl from Osoyoos: A Diversity and Inclusion Story, published in 2019, narrates Pearlene's journey as a young German-Canadian girl who discovers the beauty of diversity through her parents' tradition of hosting international visitors. This story highlights the significant realization that, for many newcomers, experiencing diversity begins upon their arrival in Canada.
